For those
who desire the fellowship and support of like-minded people,
we offer the opportunity to participate in Empowerment
Groups. Facilitated by trained leaders, these small groups
of no more than 10 people meet weekly for prayer and spiritual support
in homes through
the greater Seattle area.
Empowerment
Groups are safe,
loving environments for growth and friendship and are ideal
for newcomers but open to everyone. There are no prerequisites
and no cost to participate.
Each
series run 5-7 weeks. Groups meet at varying times
of day and on varying days of the week. Discussion and sharing
is normally based upon a Sunday talk series. Each evening concludes with
an opportunity to make prayer requests which are then prayed
for by all group members during the week.
Sign-ups
for each series begin in the Fellowship Hall two weeks
before the series start date. During those two weeks, two
slots in each group are reserved for Empowerment Group first
timers.
