Along
with ministers, Licensed Practitioners contribute to the
spiritual welfare of the congregation through affirmative
prayer, conducting classes, workshops and seminars, leading in
memorial services, and choosing to model a Spirit-based life
of service, compassion and leadership.
Licensed
Practitioners
Practitioners are Spiritual Coaches who use
affirmative prayer as the main tool in their healing work.
Our
Practitioners have completed a four-year course of study in
the Art of Spiritual Prayer to help others grow in Spiritual
understanding. The "heart of a practitioner" is a
consciousness based in the Truth of the presence of God as
Love and the understanding and use of God as Law. If an
individual session is desired, Practitioners may be contacted
directly. Fees vary among Practitioners. Practitioners teach
spiritual principles to their clients. When applied, these
principles change lives for the better. Practitioners conduct
prayer circles on Sundays after service. They also meet twice
weekly as the formal "Ministry of Prayer." In this
setting, a group healing consciousness is created to do
confidential prayer work on individual requests.
Ministry
of Prayer
This Prayer Ministry is composed of dedicated practitioners, who meet several
times a week in a healing group consciousness to do confidential
treatment work on individuals' requests. Prayer is continued
throughout the week by individual practitioners.
Spiritual
Tune-ups
Four times each year, as a gift to the community, the
Practitioners make themselves available for prayer support on
a one-to-one basis. During a private, 15-minute session, you
can talk with the Practitioner about what you would like to
see happen in your life. The Practitioner will help you
identify any belief that may be standing in your way and then
pray with you in order to replace that belief with one that
supports your intention. Check the Sunday program or the online
Announcements for upcoming dates. Spiritual tune-ups are
free .... And, like all Practitioner work, are completely
confidential.
Prayer
Circles
At the close of each Sunday service, those who
desire support through prayer are invited to join the
Practitioners in prayer. Each person, simply by their
presence, stands witness to the Truth that all are expressions
of the living God. Praying in community is a powerful
experience.
