Our
Vision:
We are building a spiritual community that supports
individual and world transformation.
Our
Mission:
The mission of Center for Spiritual Living is to
support the practice of living from Spirit.
Center
for Spiritual Living has been a Spiritual Community in Seattle
since 1921. Netta Holmes (no relation to Ernest Holmes)
founded the Seattle Center of Conscious Living in downtown
Seattle. Over the years our name has changed, we've become
part of United
Centers for Spiritual Living and we've been led through the
years by only five ministers. Our Church may look different than
it did in 1921 but we are still dedicated to living from
Spirit.
Visitors
have many opportunities
to become involved. We offer a variety of classes, workshops,
youth and children's programs, and interest groups.
Friendships
are easily made through volunteering on a regular basis or pitching
in on a special project. These and other events are listed
in the Sunday program and here on our Web site.
You are
always welcome to call the church office, Monday through
Thursday, Noon - 6pm, for updates on current opportunities or check
here on the Web site for more information.
If you
are interested in meeting someone to help you become more
involved at the Center for Spiritual Living, stop by the Information table and
Groups Info Rack in the Fellowship Hall, or look for one of
our friendly "Pathfinder" volunteers wearing yellow
ribbons between services on Sundays..
We welcome you and want to provide you with information
to make you feel at home in this spiritual community.
