Spiritual
Counseling
Practitioners
and Counseling
Along with our ministers, licensed practitioners share in
the spiritual welfare of our congregation through affirmative
prayer, conducting classes, workshops and seminars, participating
in memorial services and choosing to model a Spirit-based
life of service, compassion and leadership.
Practitioners
have completed a four-year course of study in the art of
Spiritual prayer to help others grow in spiritual understanding.
The "heart of a practitioner" is consciousness based
in the Truth of the presence of God's Love and the understanding
and the use of God's Law.
Practitioners are
available to everyone after each Sunday service. They are
also available to meet individually with clients, to do prayer
work and teach spiritual principles that, when applied, change lives for the better.
Practitioners also
meet weekly in our "Ministry of
Prayer." In this setting, a group healing consciousness
is created to do confidential prayer work on individual requests.
Spiritual
Tune-Ups
Four times each year, as a gift to the community, the practitioners
make themselves available for prayer support on a one-to-one
basis. During a private, 20-minute session, you can talk with
the practitioner about what you would like to see happen in
your life. The practitioner will help you identify any belief
that may be standing in your way and then pray with you in
a way that helps replace that belief with one that supports
your intention. Spiritual tune-ups are free. . . and like
all practitioner work, are completely confidential. Check
our announcements for dates of the next tune-ups.
Prayer
Circles
At the close of each service, those who desire support through
prayer are invited to join the practitioners in prayer. Each
person, simply by their presence, stands witness to the Truth
that all are expressions of the living God. Praying in community
is a powerful experience.
