Getting Involved

Becoming a Children’s Church Teacher
or Teachers Assistant

CSL is always looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and nurturing adults to join our volunteer teacher team. Interested Teachers and Teachers assistants receive an orientation to youth ministries and the spiritual core principles that we teach, as well as a comprehensive classroom planning & management training. Ongoing enrichment is also offered to insure that teachers continue to get the support and information that they need to have an enjoyable experience in the classroom

Orientation is offered approximately every 6 weeks. Check our online announcements (Youth/Family category) for the next scheduled orientation.

Teachers and Teachers Assistants make a commitment to be in service for one year, the school year or just the summer and most commonly make a bi weekly commitment;

Volunteering to Support our Children’s Ministry

There are many ways you can support our CSL’s Children’s church beyond being a classroom teacher. Click for Teacher Training schedule.

Loving, nurturing adults are also being screened to support out young children (babies – toddlers) on Sunday mornings and on Weekday evenings. Volunteers can also support our program by doing activity prep from home or helping out on special events.
