Our
K.I.D.S. program serves
Preschool to High School Age Youth
on Sundays during Second* 9:45 & Third 11:30 service.
Program
Overview
This
K.I.D.S. program is designed to teach Science of Mind
Principles to youth in an age appropriate, interactive and FUN
way. Using stories,
activities and discussions, youth recognize and practice the
same spiritual principles taught in our Sunday Celebration
program. This 104 week
curriculum is designed to weave a thread of spiritual concepts
from our Toddlers through our High School, deepening their
understanding of Spirit within.
K.I.D.S.
Program is available on a drop in basis as well, although
registration is strongly encouraged.
*Please
note that Currently our Middle School & high school youth
enrolled in grade 4-12 meet only during the 11:30 service.
Who
are teaching our children?
A
Volunteer staff of over 70 congregants is needed to support
the Children at CSL. 2003-2004 teachers have made a pledge to be proactively involved in
the Spiritual Education of children by first and foremost
Spiritually feeding themselves.
Teachers receive and orientation to the philosophy of
Youth Ministry at Center for Spiritual Living; training on
classroom management, monthly skill booster trainings and practitioner
prayer support.
